Home Communion

Communion is celebrated regularly during the week at the various churches in the parish. However we recognise that some people cannot get to church as often as they would like, so the clergy and our team of lay pastors take communion once a month to the rest homes in the parish, and to people who may have health problems or who due to circumstance are unable to leave their own homes to come to church.

Added to this we offer a “home communion” at 7.00pm on the first Wednesday of every month.

This is an informal service and takes place in private homes as announced in the parish magazine and pew sheet.

The service is usually over by 7.45p.m..

This is a good opportunity for working people to share fellowship midweek.

Anyone is welcome to come, and share a cup of tea and a chat afterwards.
